Winter 1968: born 3 days after Jesus, in Beaujolais in a family originating from Burgundy (it goes without saying that nobody is allowed to drink Bordeaux at home).

Summer 1990: travelling in the USA (East Coast and Old South) with a bunch of friends.

September 1991 ~ March 1992: first stay in Japan.

New Year 1992: visit Kyôto for the first time and fall in love with this unique city.

Summer 1992: travelling in Venezuela with a bunch of friends and a few assholes (after a few quarrels we splitted into 4 groups heading different directions).

February 1995: 1-week stay in Beijing.

December 2001: short stay in Brazil, mainly in Rio de janeiro, one of the most amazing cities on Planet Earth.

2002-10-21: creation of the website tabiviaje.ifrance.com.

May ~ June 2003: travelling in Peru and Bolivia with Naoyo.

Summer 2003: should we stay in Japan or should we leave?

November 2003: short stay in Bali.

14th November 2003: back to France after 10 years spent in the Japanese Archipelago.

December 2003: settlement in Lyon, the Kyôto of France. These two cities have so many things in common, the status of ancient capital, the importance of culinary traditions, the role of silk and rivers (Katsura and Kamo in Kyôto, Rhône and Saône in Lyon) in their history, the coldness of their proud inhabitants, their complicated communications protocols and a strong ressentment against the "usurping" capitals (Paris and Tôkyô).

July 2004: short stay in Toledo.

April 2005: we leave Lyon to settle in a little village in Burgundy.

April 2006: second stay in Rio de Janeiro.
