Nakamura Naritarô I
 

The actor Nakamura Kaisha held the name of Nakamura Naritarô I from October 1881 to December 1913.

Born in Tôkyô the 1st of September 1900. Disciple of the koshibai actor Ichikawa Sukejûrô, he made his debut on stage in Fall 1910 in Tôkyô at the Kotobukiza, where he received the name of Ichikawa Sukeroku. He was adopted by the Ôsaka actor Nakamura Naritarô I in 1913, who gave him the name of Nakamura Tarô I. He finally took the name of Nakamura Naritarô II in October 1921 at the Nakaza. Often on sick leave, he was nevertheless active in Kamigata up to his death the 17th of November 1980. He was the father of Nakamura Tarô II.
