The yagô Naritaya was created by the star Ichikawa Danjûrô I. It was in fact the very first yagô in Kabuki history. It came from the Narita Fudôson temple dedicated to the cult of the deity Fudô Myôô. Naritaya is the guild name of the following contemporary actors: |
