Born in 1842. He started his career as a disciple of Band˘ Hikosabur˘ IV, performing under the name of Band˘ Tsuruz˘ I. He took the name of Band˘ Hikojűr˘ I at an unknown time. This minor actor excelled in jitsuaku roles. He was also a mainstay at the Kish˘za during the 1870s. He died in T˘ky˘ the 4th of July 1893. He was the father of Band˘ Hikojűr˘ II.

Born in 1860. Son of Band˘ Hikojűr˘ I, he started his career as a child-actor in 1865, performing under the name of Band˘ Otomaru. He received the names of Band˘ Tsuruz˘ II and Band˘ Tsurunosuke II at unknown times. He finally took the name of Band˘ Hikojűr˘ II in October 1915 but held this name only for a few years as he died in 1918. This koshibai actor was the father of Band˘ Takesabur˘ III, Onoe Kikujir˘ IV and Nakamura Tomijűr˘ IV.
