Ichikawa Metora I

Born in 1853. Adopted by the actor Ichikawa Monnosuke V, he received the name of Ichikawa Seikichi and was trained as a wakaonnagata actor. He took the name of Ichikawa Metora I in the 3rd lunar month of 1865 and was active in Edo/Tôkyô for 14 years. He died in Tôkyô the 8th of May 1879.

Ichikawa Metora II
 

The actor Ichikawa Monnosuke VI held the name of Ichikawa Metora II from November 1888 to May 1910.
