Dates of birth and death unknown. His first stage name was Kameya Nakazô, when he performed in Kyôto in kodomo shibai. He became disciple of Asao Tamejûrô I and changed his name to Asao Nakazô I. He took back the name of Kameya Nakazô in the 7th lunar month of 1787 in Ôsaka. He finally became a disciple of Fujikawa Tomokichi I in Fall 1791 and took the name of Fujikawa Hanzaburô IV at the Naka no Shibai in the 11th lunar month of 1791, playing the role of Yakushiji Jirozaemon in the drama "Kanadehon Chûshingura". He took back the name of Kameya Nakazô in the 11th lunar month of 1797 in Ôsaka at the Kita-Shinchi no Shibai. He finally took the name of Fujikawa Buzaemon II at the Kado no Shibai in the 9th lunar month of 1799, playing the role of Furuta Oribe in the drama "Karanishiki Akiba Monogatari", which was produced by Fujikawa Katsujirô. He went to Edo in Fall 1800 and played at the Ichimuraza in Nagawa Shimesuke I's kaomise drama "Oishigeru Nami no Une Une". He stayed in Edo up to 1804. He went back to Kamigata, where he most likely died before 1811. He was a supporting katakiyaku/jitsuaku actor, endowed with a good voice and a nice stage presence.

Born the 4th of September 1906. Disciple of Ichikawa Danshirô II, he made his debut on stage in March 1921, in Tôkyô at the Shintomiza, where he received the name of Ichikawa Kosaburô. He took the name of Tachibana Kosaburô in 1928 and joined the Zenshinza in 1932. He revived the Fujikawa clan in May 1958, when he took the name of Fujikawa Hachizô V [2]. He finally took the name of Fujikawa Buzaemon IV in 1973 but he unfortunately died the following year, the 5th of January 1974. He was the grandfather of the current Zenshinza star Fujikawa Yanosuke. He was a supporting tachiyaku/katakiyaku actor.
