Born the 6th of October 1941. Disciple of Ichikawa Ennosuke II, he received the name of Ichikawa En'ya I and made his debut on stage in October 1953, in Tôkyô at the Shinbashi Enbujô, where he performed in the drama "Yoritomo no Shi" and the dance-drama "Aki no Tsuki Goshiki no Irodori". He was active up to 1960. No record afterwards.
