The actor Imamura Shichisaburô II held this name from the middle of the 1730s (?) to the 3rd lunar month of 1762.

Dates of birth and death unknown. He was most likely a disciple of Imamura Shichisaburô II and his first stage name was Imamura Shichizô. He took the name of Imamura Shichisaburô III in the 1st lunar month of 1775 in Kyôto, performing in the new year drama "Koi Suchô Itoshi Nurebumi", which was produced by Nakamura Mankatsu. He was active in Kyôto and Ôsaka, performing as a tachiyaku or a katakiyaku, up to the middle or the end of the 1780s.
