Dates of birth and death unknown. He was first recorded as performing as a tachiyaku in the 11th lunar month of 1708 in Ôsaka, performing in the kaomise drama "Ôkamado Uke Matsuri", which was produced by Iwai Hanshirô II. His first stage name was Hanaoka Goroshirô. He went to Kyôto in Fall 1709 and took the name of Hanaoka Bunzaemon, performing in the kaomise drama "Kokonotsu Kogura Hitotsubu Manbai", which was produced by Miyako Mandayû for the nadai Hayagumo Chôdayû. He was active in Kyôto up to the 11th lunar month of 1713. His rank in the 1714 Kyôto hyôbanki, tachiyaku section, was naka-no-jô-jô (superior - superior in the middle class). No record afterwards.

Dates of birth and death unknown. He was first recorded as performing as a wakaonnagata in Kyôto in 1692. His first stage name was Hanaoka Miyako. He went to Edo and performed at the Moritaza in the 1st lunar month of 1699. He performed in the 1st lunar month of 1700 in the same theater a keisei role in the new year drama "Kagemasa Ikazuchi Mondô". He performed as a kashagata in the 1st lunar month of 1703 at the Yamamuraza in the new year drama "Keisei Asama Soga". His rank in the 1703 Edo hyôbanki (published in the 3rd lunard month of 1703), kashagata section, was naka (middle class). No record afterwards.
