Dates of birth and death unknown. He was recorded for the first time in 1691. He performed in 1692 in Kyôto as a wakashugata. He went to Ôsaka in Fall 1698 and played successfully in the 11th lunar month the eponymous role in the drama "Semimaru", sharing the stage with Yamashita Matashirô I, Shinozuka Jirozaemon I, Fujikawa Buzaemon I, Mihara Jûdayû I, Asao Jûjirô I, Uemura Kichisaburô I, Ogura Bun'emon and Iwai Hanshirô II (who was the zamoto). He went back to Kyôto the following year. He was active in Kyôto up to 1703. No record afterwards.

Dates of birth and death unknown. He was recorded for the first time in the 11th lunar month of 1698, when he performed as a tachiyaku in Kyôto. He became oyajigata in Kyôto in the 11th lunar month of 1702. He went to Edo in Fall 1704 and he performed in the 11th lunar month of 1704 at the Ichimuraza as a kashagata in the kaomise drama "Onna Araoka Nishiki no Tazuna". He performed in the 11th lunar month of 1733 at the Ichimuraza in the kaomise drama "Shôhon Taiheiki". His rank in the 1734 Edo hyôbanki, kashagata section, was jô-jô (superior - superior) [visual]. No record afterwards. He was said to be a good kashagata actor, excelling in kôshitsu, keibo or tsubone roles.
