Dates of birth and death unknown. Disciple of Bandô Matakurô IV, he was recorded for the first time when he performed as a katakiyaku in the 11th lunar month of 1777 at the Moritaza in the kaomise drama "Hito no Kuni Yori Mitsugi no Irifune", which celebrated the return to Edo of the actor Sawamura Sôjûrô III. He was recorded for the last time in the 1824 Edo hyôbanki, katakiyaku section, where he was ranked two black strokes above jô-(shiro)jô (superior - (white) superior) [visual]. No record afterwards. His haimyô was Uchô.

Dates of birth and death unknown. He was most likely a disciple of Bandô Mitsugorô IV [1]. He was recorded for the first time in the 11th lunar month of 1835, when he performed as a katakiyaku at the Moritaza in the kaomise drama "Hanayagura Kabuki no Jintori", which celebrated the shûmei of Ichikawa Kuzô II and Bandô Zenkô. His rank in the 1836 hyôbanki, katakiyaku section, was jô-jô (superior - superior) [visual]. No record afterwards.

Notes

[1] No record in the latest edition (2012) of "Kabuki Haiyû Meiseki Benran" or in Nojima Jusaburô's book "Kabuki Jinmei Jiten". Bandô Mikizô II and Bandô Mitsugorô IV performed together in the 11th lunar month of 1835 at the Moritaza and they had the same mon at that time.
