Born in 1882. Disciple of Nakamura Tamashichi II, he received the name of Nakamura Tamatarô most likely in 1884. He died the 22nd of August 1908.

Born the 19th of July 1911. Disciple of Nakamura Utaemon V, he made his debut on stage (hatsubutai) in April 1916 at the Kabukiza, where he received the name of Nakamura Tamatarô II. He was active up to 1927. Nothing else was recorded about this actor afterwards.

The actor Nakamura Tôzô VI held the name of Nakamura Tamatarô III from September 1961 to March 1967.

The actor Nakamura Matsue VI held the name of Nakamura Tamatarô IV from November 1976 to March 2006.
