    Born the 27th of August 1874. He became a disciple of Nakamura Akashi V in 1886, who gave him the name of Nakamura Ishimatsu. He took the name of Nakamura Tamon in 1893. He became disciple of Kataoka Ichizô III, who gave him the name of Kataoka Matsue in May 1895 at the Ichimuraza. He finally joined Bandô Mitsugorô VII in Fall 1909 and took the name of Bandô Tamanosuke III in September 1909 at the Ichimuraza. He died the 7th of September 1927.

    Born the 17th of April 1935. He was the adopted son of the elder brother of Morita Kan'ya XIV. He started his career in Kabuki in 1950 and received the name of Bandô Yamato I. He became disciple of Bandô Minosuke VI and took the name of Bandô Tamanosuke IV in January 1954 at the Ôsaka Kabukiza, performing in "Mômoku Monogatari" and "Hashi Benkei". He became disciple of Morita Kan'ya XIV in October 1974 and received the name of Bandô Mamoru, performing at the Kabukiza in the drama "Sono Kouta Yume mo Yoshiwara". His new master Morita Kan'ya XIV died the 28th of March 1975 and he became disciple of Morita Kan'ya XIV's son Bandô Tamasaburô V. He finally became a disciple of Bandô Mitsugorô IX in January 1993 and took back the name of Bandô Tamanosuke IV in February 1993 at the Kabukiza, performing in "Jitsuroku Sendai Hagi". This supporting actor is an onnagata, who excels in koshimoto, tsubone, shinzô or nyôbô roles.
