The actors Takenaka Tôzaburô (top/1st from left), Sodeshima Ichiya (bottom/1st from left), Ôtani Tsuneemon (top/2nd from left), Sakurayama Shirosaburô I (bottom/2nd from left), Kirinoya Gonjûrô I (bottom/1st from right), Yamamoto Hikogorô (top/2nd from right) and Takashima Onoe (top/1st from right) playing the roles of Nagaoka Chikaranosuke, Otaku, Ôhara Kageyu, Kumagai Tsunaemon, Nagaoka Wadaemon, Kanebayashi Hyôgo [1] and Princess Kame in the kaomise drama "Meryû Oryû Kogane no Uroko", which was staged in Ôsaka at the Higashi no Shibai in the 11th lunar month of 1717
