Dates of birth and death unknown. His first stage name was Fujita Sennosuke. He took the name of Fujita Kuhachir˘ at an unknown date. He became tachiyaku in Ky˘to in the 11th lunar month of 1698. In parallel of acting, he was also a t˘dori in Ky˘to from 1710. He performed in the 11th lunar month of 1726 in Ky˘to at Kameya Kumenoj˘'s theater in the kaomise drama "Karanishiki Imose no Shitone", which was produced by Matsushima Hy˘tar˘. His rank in the 1727 Ky˘to hy˘banki, tachiyaku section, was (shiro)j˘ ((white) superior) [visual]. No record afterwards.
