Dates of birth and death unknown. His first stage name was Fujita Sennosuke. He took the name of Fujita Kuhachirô at an unknown date. He became tachiyaku in Kyôto in the 11th lunar month of 1698. In parallel of acting, he was also a tôdori in Kyôto from 1710. He performed in the 11th lunar month of 1726 in Kyôto at Kameya Kumenojô's theater in the kaomise drama "Karanishiki Imose no Shitone", which was produced by Matsushima Hyôtarô. His rank in the 1727 Kyôto hyôbanki, tachiyaku section, was (shiro)jô ((white) superior) [visual]. No record afterwards.
