Ichikawa Unosuke I

The actor Ichikawa Udanji II held the name of Ichikawa Unosuke I from January 1902 to December 1909.

Born the 2nd of February 1919. Great-grandson of Ichikawa Kodanji IV, grandson of Ichikawa Sai'nyû I and son of Ichikawa Udanji II, he made his debut on stage in February 1928 in Ôsaka at the Nakaza and his first stage name was Ichikawa Tatsuo (his honmyô). He took the name of Ichikawa Unosuke II in January 1937 at the Nakaza. He stopped acting at the beginning of the 1940s. No record in ôshibai after the end of WWII. He was the father of Ichikawa Sai'nyû II.

Ichikawa Unosuke III

The actor Ichikawa Sai'nyû II held the name of Ichikawa Unosuke III from October 1955 to June 2017.
