Dates of birth and death unknown. He was recorded for the first time in the 1st lunar month of 1721 when he performed as a katakiyaku in the new year drama "Shida Yuzuriha no Kagami", which was produced by Ogino Yaegiri I and Miyazaki Denkichi in Ôsaka. He went to Kyôto in Fall 1718 and took the name of Hagino Sadaemon and played the role of the sakan Genjibê in the 11th lunar month of 1718 in Adachi Saburôzaemon's kaomise drama "Shiga no Miyako Kogane no Hanazono", which was produced by Yamatoyama Jinzaemon I for the nadai Ebisuya Kichirôbê. He went back to Ôsaka in Fall 1719 and took back the name of Matsushima Heijizaemon and played the role of Dobashi Heizô in the 11th lunar month of 1719 in the kaomise drama "Kogane no Mitsu Gashiwa", which was produced by Kaneko Kichizaemon at the Ônishi no Shibai. He appeared on stage for the last time in the 1st lunar month of 1731, in Ôsaka at the Naka no Shibai, where he performed in the new year drama "Takechi Jûbê Miyako Nishiki" which was produced by Iwai Hanshirô III. Heijizaemon's rank in the 1731 Ôsaka hyôbanki, katakiyaku section, was (shiro)jô ((white) superior) [visual]. No record afterwards.
