Date of birth unknown. He was the grandson of Onoe Kikugor˘ III and the father of Onoe Baik˘ VI. His first stage name was Onoe Asajir˘. He took and held for a few months in 1874 the name of Onoe Matsusuke. He died the 2nd of July 1874. He was never never acknowledged as an official member of the line.

Born the 24th of March 1887 in T˘ky˘. He started his career as a disciple of Onoe Kikugor˘ V, receiving the name of Onoe K˘kichi. He took the name of Onoe Kikumatsu in April 1897. He became nadai and took the name of Onoe Izabur˘ in February 1911. He finally took the name of Onoe Matsusuke V in March 1935 but died 2 years later, the 9th of August 1937.
