Born the 21st of March 1953. He graduated from the Actors Training Center of the National Theatre (2nd graduation) and made his debut on stage in April 1975 at the National Theatre, where he performed as a torite in the classic "Imoseyama Onna Teikin". He became disciple of Nakamura Kanzaburô XVII and received the name of Nakamura Nakaichirô in April 1975 at the Kabukiza, where he played the role of a Hosokawa clan retainer in "Ôishi Saigo no Ichinichi". He passed the nadai exam and officially became nadai in December 2004 at the Kabukiza, where he took the name of Nakamura Sanzaemon VI and played the role of the hikyaku Hayasuke and a demon (oni) in "Suzu-ga-Mori" and "Ima ha Mukashi Momotarô". A tachiyaku supporting actor at the service of 3 generations of leaders of the Nakamuraya guild.
