1691: he performed as a wakaonnagata in Kyôto.

11th lunar month of 1695: Senju performed in Kyôto at Miyako Mandayû's theater in the kaomise drama "Hime Kura Daikoku Bashira", which was produced by Sakata Tôjûrô I.

2nd lunar month of 1696: Senju's rank in the Kyôto hyôbanki, wakaonnagata section, was (superior) [visual].

1st lunar month of 1698: Senju played in the same theater the role of Shirotae in Chikamatsu Monzaemon's drama "Kamigyô no Uta Hajime".

2nd lunar month of 1698: Senju played in the same theater the role of the keisei Yoshida in the ni-no-kawari drama "Keisei Edo Zakura".

1st lunar month of 1699: Senju's rank in the Kyôto hyôbanki, wakaonnagata section, was jô-jô-kichi (superior - superior - excellent) [visual]. Premiere at Miyako Mandayû's theater of Chikamatsu Monzaemon's drama "Keisei Hotoke no Hara", which was produced by Sakata Tôjûrô I; Senju played the role of the keisei Imagawa [casting]. This was a huge success.

3rd lunar month of 1699: Senju's rank in the Kyôto hyôbanki, wakaonnagata section, fell to jô-jô (superior - superior) [visual].

10th lunar month of 1699: Senju played in the same theater the role of Honda Heitarô's goke Kisaragi-no-Mae in Chikamatsu Monzaemon's drama "Amidagaike Shin Teramachi", which was produced by Sakata Tôjûrô I.

1st lunar month of 1700: Senju played in the same theater the role of the keisei Matsushima in Chikamatsu Monzaemon's drama "Keisei Guzei no Fune", which was produced by Sakata Tôjûrô I.

1st lunar month of 1703: Senju played in Kyôto at Miyako Mandayû's theater the role of the keisei Takahashi in the ni-no-kawari drama "Keisei Takaradera".

1st lunar month of 1705: Senju played the role of the keisei Takahashi in the new year drama "Keisei Hachisu no Ito", which was staged in Kyôto at Kameya Kumenojô's theater. No record afterwards.

Comments:

Kirinami Senju I was born and trained as a koyaku in Ôsaka but he made all his career as an onnagata in Kyôto from the beginning of the 1690s to the middle of the 1700s. He was outstanding in keisei roles and often appeared on stage with Sakata Tôjûrô I. He was ranked jô-jô-kichi for a few weeks, from the 1st to the 3rd lunar months of 1699. He retired to become an oil merchant.
