History

Katsu Hyôzô I's kaomise drama "Shitennô Momiji no Edoguma" was premiered in the 11th lunar month of 1804 at the Kawarasakiza [casting]. It welcomed in Edo the Kamigata actor Arashi Danpachi. Two dance-drama were staged within this kaomise program: the Nagauta-based dance "Imayô Hana no Aizuchi" and the Tokiwazu-based dance "Mutsu no Hana Furisode Yamanba".
