History

Tsuruya Nanboku IV's new year sogamono drama "Yaegasumi Soga no Kumiito" was premiered in the 1st lunar month of 1823 [2] at the Ichimuraza [casting]. This new year drama mixed several sekai as it was a sogamono, an osono-rokusamono and a koito-sashichimono. It also added elements from the 1810 drama "Itoya no Musume" and from the story of Nezumi Kozô. The Tokiwazu-based dance-drama "Kokoro no Take Iute Mikagura" was staged within this new year program.
