Kanazawa Heigorô

Dates of birth and death unknown. He was a disciple of Kanazawa Heiroku, who gave him the name of Kanazawa Heigorô. He was recorded for the first time in the 11th lunar month of 1722, when he performed at the Ichimuraza in the kaomise drama "Hinazuru Katoku Soga". He was recorded for the last time in the 1st lunar month of 1723, when he performed in the same theater in the new year sogamono "Manazuru Kazô Soga". Heigorô's rank in the Edo 1723 hyôbanki [2], dôkegata section, was naka-no-jô-jô (superior - superior in the middle class). No record afterwards.

Date of birth unknown. Disciple of Kanazawa Goheiji I, he received the name of Kanazawa Heiroku. He was recorded for the first time in the 1st lunar month of 1701, when he performed as a dôkegata at the Nakamuraza in the new year drama "Keisei Ôshôkun". He performed for a few months under the name of Nanboku Heiroku in 1710 but he took back the name of Kanazawa Heiroku in the 11th lunar month of 1710 at the Yamamuraza, when he performed in the kaomise drama "Jinriki Teika Azuma Asobi", which celebrated the arrival in Edo of the Kamigata actor Arashi Kiyosaburô I. He appeared on stage for the last time in the 1st lunar month of 1721, in Edo at the Moritaza, where he performed in the new year sogamono "Nigiwai Suehiro Soga". He died the 23rd day of the 8th lunar month of 1721 [1]. Heiroku's rank in the Edo 1721 hyôbanki [3], dôkegata section, was jô-jô-(shiro)kichi (superior - superior - (white) excellent) [visual]. No record afterwards. He was the master of Kanazawa Heigorô.
