Dates of birth and death unknown. He started his career in ďsaka in 1713. He performed as a katakiyaku in the 1st lunar month of 1713 in ďsaka in the drama "Kamakura Gosho no Matsu". He played in the same theater in the 11th lunar month of 1713 the role of Kobata Hy˘emon in the kaomise drama "Yoyo Meoto Tsuru no Mago". He performed for 10 seasons in ďsaka before moving to Ky˘to in Fall 1723. He took the name of Matsukawa Tsuneemon and played in the 11th lunar month of 1723 the role of the kar˘ Gekizaemon in Fukuoka Yagoshir˘'s kaomise drama "Teono Hajime Kogane no Ishizue", which was produced by Segawa Kikunoj˘ I. Tsuneemon played in the same theater the role of Akaboshi Satoemon in the new year drama "Keisei Futakamiyama". Tsuneemon's rank in the Ky˘to hy˘banki, katakiyaku section, was j˘-j˘ (superior - superior) [visual]. No record afterwards.
