He was recorded for the first time in the 1st lunar month of 1715, when he performed in Ôsaka as a kashagata in the kaomise drama "(Jingô Kôgô Sankan Taiji) Ashiwakebune"
which was produced by Ogino Yaegiri I. He performed for a few years in tabi shibai
and went back to Ôsaka in Fall 1720. He performed in the 11th lunar month of 1720 at the Kado no Shibai in the kaomise drama "Hana Yakata Chibikizuru", which was produced by Kirinoya Gonjûrô I.
He was recorded for the last time in the 11th lunar month of 1724, when he performed at the Kado no Shibai in the kaomise drama "Banzei no Minato",
which was produced by Arashi San'emon III.
His rank in the 1725 Ôsaka hyôbanki,
kashagata section, was (shiro)jô ((white) superior).
