History

1963: opening of the Nissay Theatre in the district of Yurakuch˘, Chiyoda-ku (T˘ky˘).

January 1964: revival at the Nissay Theatre of Tsuruya Nanboku IV's spectacular drama "Kin no Zai Sarushima Dairi", which is produced by Takechi Tetsuji and staged with the following casting:

Taira no Masakado's sister Princess Nanaaya Sawamura Yoshijir˘ IV
The boatman Kinz˘ Tonegawa Kinjűr˘

The roles of the priest Hakuunb˘ and Kokuunb˘ are played by the ky˘genshi Shigeyama Shime and Shigeyama Sennoj˘.
