Nakamura Kashichi II
 

The actor Nakamura Shirobê held the name of Nakamura Kashichi II from the 8th lunar month of 1812 to the 7th lunar month of 1839.

Dates of birth and death unknown. Disciple of Yoshizawa Iroha II, his first stage name was Yoshizawa Enjirô II. Later, he became disciple of Arashi Rikan II and received the name of Arashi Katsusaburô. With the help of Nakamura Tomijûrô II, he was adopted by Nakamura Kashichi II and changed his name to Nakamura Katsusaburô. His adoptive father Nakamura Kashichi II, who wanted to retire, and himself finally took the names of Nakamura Shirobê and Nakamura Kashichi III in the 8th lunar month of 1839, in Ôsaka at the Kado no Shibai, performing in a program commemorating the 1st anniversary (2nd memorial service) of the passing away of the star Nakamura Tamasuke. He played in the 8th lunar month of 1843 at the Kado no Shibai several roles in the drama "Hana Momiji Iroha Bunko". No record afterwards. He most likely died in Kamigata at the beginning of the Kôka era. His yagô was Shôkakuya.

Nakamura Kashichi IV
 

The actor Nakamura Kashichi IV held this name from January 1875 to February 1881.

Nakamura Kashichi V

Born in Ôsaka in 1861. Disciple of Jitsukawa Yaozô I and son of Jitsukawa Wakaemon, his first stage name was Jitsukawa Umesaburô and he started his career around 1869. He took the name of Jitsukawa Ichizô in 1878 in Ôsaka at the Bentenza. Following a quarrel with his master, he left the Jitsukawa clan and took the name of Kurotani Ichizô in June 1885 at the Asahiza. He finally took the name of Nakamura Kashichi V in November 1910 in Ôsaka at the Naniwaza. He died the 20th of March 1931. This Kamigata supporting actor was able to perform a wide range of roles, either as a tachiyaku, an onnagata or a katakiyaku.
