A minor koyaku actor was recorded in the 1755 Edo hyôbanki (both 1st and 3rd lunar month hyôbanki). There were also record in the 3rd lunar month of 1768 and 1st lunar month of 1782. It is not possible to clarify the fact that it might be records for the same actor.

Dates of birth and death unknown. He was a disciple of Nakamura Kichiemon I, who was the zagashira of a troupe of children-actors (kodomo shibai) performing in Asakusa. He was active in Tôkyô up to 1926. No record afterwards.

Born the 17th of September 1930 in Iwakuni. He became a disciple of Nakamura Kichiemon I, received the name of Nakamura Manzaburô and made his debut on stage (hatsubutai) in December 1948 in Kyôto at the Minamiza, where he played the role of a taiko mochi in the drama "Yoshidaya". He became nadai and took the name of Nakamura Kichigorô I in September 1957 at the Kabukiza, performing in "Jinshin no Ran" and "Môja Zuma". This program celebrated also the shûmei of 3 others nadai actors: Matsumoto Kôjaku I, Matsumoto Komagorô II and Matsumoto Kônosuke. It was also the hatsubutai of Ichikawa Arajirô III and Matsumoto Matsunosuke. He appeared on stage for the last time in May 1988, in Tôkyô at the Kabukiza, where he played the role of the tedai Yoshizô in the drama "Aoto Zôshi Hana no Nishikie". He died the 15th of October 1990.

Born the 14th of April 1955. He started his career in June 1978 at the Tôyoko Gekijô, performing with the Zenshinza troupe. He officially joined this troupe in March 1979 and left it in April 1981. He became a disciple of Nakamura Kichiemon II in June 1981 and received the name of Nakamura Kichiji in October 1981, performing a supporting role at the Kabukiza in the drama "Kagatobi". He became nadai and celebrated it in September 1998 at the Kabukiza, where he received the name of Nakamura Kichigorô II and played the role of Shôbayashi Hayato in the drama "Nijô-jô no Kiyomasa".
