Dates of birth and death unknown. Brother of Shinozuka Jirozaemon I, he started his career in Kamigata. He went to Edo in 1703 where he performed as a katakiyaku for a while. He went back to Ôsaka in the 1st lunar month of 1707 with his brother Shinozuka Jirozaemon I, Bandô Kikumatsu I and Shinozuka Shômatsu I. Jûzaemon performed in the 11th lunar month of 1727 at the Naka no Shibai in the kaomise drama "Imosegami Aioi no Futabayama", which was produced by Yamamoto Kyôshirô I. He most likely went to Kyôto with his brother in fall or winter 1713. He went back to Ôsaka in Fall 1717 and played in the 11th lunar month of 1717 at the Kado no Shibai the role of Takaichi Daizô in the kaomise drama "Benten Chôja Uga no Tama", which was produced by Ogino Kinnojô. He played in the 1st lunar month of 1728 in the same theater the role of Matsui Rokudayû in the new year drama "Shôgi Gunpô Ryûko no Maki". His rank in the 1728 Ôsaka hyôbanki, katakiyaku section, was (superior) [visual]. No record afterwards.

Dates of birth and death unknown. Son of Shinozuka Jirozaemon I, he received the name of Shinozuka Shômatsu I and he was trained in Kamigata. He went to Edo in 1695, where he was recorded for the first in the 11th lunar month of 1695, when he performed at the Nakamuraza. He performed in Edo up to 1706. He went back to Ôsaka in Fall 1706 and he played in the 11th lunar month of 1706 the role of the girl Oshô in the kaomise drama "Kantô Koroku", which was produced in Ôsaka by his father Shinozuka Jirozaemon I. He became zamoto and produced in the 11th lunar month of 1709 the kaomise drama "Onna Gosho Bunko" in which he performed as a wakaonnagata. He worked as a zamoto up to Fall 1714. He became tachiyaku and he took the name of Shinozuka Sôhachi in the 11th lunar month of 1714 in Ôsaka, where he performed in the kaomise drama "Yonedawara Mangoku no Minato", which was produced by his nephew Shinozuka Shômatsu II. He was recorded for the last time in the 1st lunar month of 1715, in the Ôsaka hyôbanki. No record afterwards as he retired early from the Kabuki world.
