Ichikawa Momotarô I
 

The actor Ichikawa Danzô VI held the name of Ichikawa Momotarô I from the 11th lunar month of 1816 to 1831.

Born the 6th of September 1989. Second son of Ichikawa Danzô IX, he made his first stage appearance (omemie) in May 1995, in Tôkyô at the Kabukiza, where he played the role of Rokudai in the classic "Yoshitsune Senbon Zakura" which was staged to commemorate the 6th anniversary (7th memorial service) of the passing away of Onoe Shôroku II. His first stage name was Ichikawa Takaaki (his honmyô). He made his debut on stage (hatsubutai) in May 1996 at the Kabukiza, where he took the name of Ichikawa Momotarô V and played the role of the decchi Chômatsu in the drama "Shiranami Gonin Otoko" which was staged to celebrate the shûmei of Onoe Kikunosuke V. He played in May 1999 at the Kabukiza the role of the sword-holder Otowaka in the dance-drama "Tsuchi-gumo". No record afterwards. He stopped acting.
