RIKANCHA is a Japanese Green Diet Tea Brand. The origin of the name of this tea is somehow related to Kabuki. Rikancha is the traditional name of a color that was long time ago the favourite brown color of the Kabuki actor Arashi Kichisaburô II, whose haimyô was RIKAN.

Several colors are related to Kabuki actors. Here is an almost complete list - I am still looking for Shikôcha, which I think was related to the great actor Ichikawa Danzô IV but so far I did not find any details (help needed !)
