Kataoka Gadô I
 

The actor Kataoka Nizaemon VII's haimyô was Gadô and, although he never officially held the name of Kataoka Gadô I, he was considered as the founder of the line.

Kataoka Gadô II
 

The actor Kataoka Nizaemon VIII held the name of Kataoka Gadô II from the 1st lunar month of 1839 to the 12th lunar month of 1856, then from the 10th lunar month of 1862 to the 2nd lunar month of 1863.

The actor Kataoka Gatô II held the name of Kataoka Gadô in Spring 1866 but he was never acknowledged as an official holder of the name.

  The actor Kataoka Nizaemon X held the name of Kataoka Gadô III from the 1st lunar month of 1872 to December 1894.
