Kataoka Gadō I
 

The actor Kataoka Nizaemon VII's haimyō was Gadō and, although he never officially held the name of Kataoka Gadō I, he was considered as the founder of the line.

Kataoka Gadō II
 

The actor Kataoka Nizaemon VIII held the name of Kataoka Gadō II from the 1st lunar month of 1839 to the 12th lunar month of 1856, then from the 10th lunar month of 1862 to the 2nd lunar month of 1863.

Kataoka Gadō III
  The actor Kataoka Nizaemon X held the name of Kataoka Gadō III from the 1st lunar month of 1872 to December 1894.

Kataoka Gadō IV
  The actor Kataoka Nizaemon XII held the name of Kataoka Gadō IV from March 1901 to December 1935.

  The actor Kataoka Gadō V held this name from July 1955 to December 1993.
