The kaomise drama "Ky˘ganoko Asahi no Nishiki" was produced in the 11th lunar month of 1751 at the Minamigawa no Shibai by Sakakiyama Shirotar˘ II. It was staged with the following casting:

Ichikawa Danz˘ III played the role of Hashidate Ikkaku before the kannushi Uky˘. Others actors were Fujikawa Daiz˘ (Todoroki Satoemon) and Okada Hikoshichi (the servant Kyűshichi). Minakawa S˘za took the name of Someyama S˘jűr˘ during this kaomise program.

The opening day was the 26th day of the 11th lunar month of the 1st year of the H˘reki era (1751), which was the 12th of January 1752 in the western calendar.
