The kaomise drama "Sumiyoshi Tanjôseki" was produced in the 11th lunar month of 1718 [1] in Ôsaka at the Naka no Shibai by Takeshima Kôzaemon II. The opening day was the 11th day of the 11th lunar month of the 3rd year of the Kyôhô era, which was the 1st of January 1719 in the western calendar.
