Born the 6th of June 1874. Son of Sawamura Tanosuke III, he made his debut on stage after the death of his father, in February 1879 at the Harukiza. He was active in Tôkyô up to January 1890 (last stage appearance at the Chitoseza). He died the 19th of February 1890. |
