Born in 1855. Disciple of Nakamura Kamezô, he started his career in 1861 and his first stage name was Nakamura Kametarô. He joined the Ichikawa clan in 1885, as a disciple of Ichikawa Shinzô V and performed under the name of Ichikawa Kashô. He took the name of Ichikawa Kasen in March 1895 in Tôkyô at the Engiza. He finally joined the Onoe clan as a disciple of Onoe Kikugorô V and took the name of Onoe Kikujûrô II in September 1899 at the Kabukiza. He died the 30th of April 1903, a few weeks after his master who died the 18th of February 1903. The real name of this supporting tachiyaku actor was Terauchi Jizaburô. |

Born in Tôkyô the 1st of February 1888. He started his career as a disciple of Onoe Kikugorô V in May 1892, in Tôkyô at the Hongôza, where he received the name of Onoe Yoneko (or Onoe Sueko ?). He performed under the name of Ichikawa Kiyoji from 1913. He took the name of Onoe Sangorô in September 1919. He became nadai and took the name of Onoe Kikujûrô III in May 1920 at the Ichimuraza, where he played the role of an otokodate in the drama "Otokodate Shibai-mae no Nigiwai". He appeared on stage for the last time in November 1955 at the Ôsaka Kabukiza, where he played the role of the sobaya master's wife Okayo in the drama "Yuki no Yûbe Iriya no Azemichi". He died the 25th of December 1955. He was at the service of 3 generations of leaders of the Onoe clan: Onoe Kikugorô V, Onoe Kikugorô VI and Onoe Baikô VII.
