Dates of birth and death unknown. Son of Yamamura Kazaemon, he received the name of Yamamura Ichitarô and he performed as a wakashugata/koyaku in the 11th lunar mont of 1713 in Ôsaka in the kaomise drama "Yoyo Meoto Tsuru no Mago". He became wakaonnagata and played in the 11th lunar month of 1718 at the Ônishi no Shibai the role of Princess Takechiyo [1] in the kaomise drama "Suehiro Chôja Bandaigura", which was produced by Sawamura Chôjûrô I and celebrated the shûmei of Sugiyama Kanzaemon III. He switched back to wakashugata in the 11th lunar month of 1719 and performed in the kaomise drama "Kogane no Hajimari", which was produced by Arashi San'emon III in Ôsaka at the Higashi no Shibai. He went to Edo in Fall 1721. He became wakaonnagata and played in the 11th lunar month of 1721 at the Nakamuraza the role of Oichi in the kaomise drama "Torisaka no Jô Tsuru no Sugomori". He went back to Kyôto in Fall 1723 and played in the 11th lunar month of 1723 the role of the keisei Hanamae in Fukuoka Yagoshirô's kaomise drama "Teono Hajime Kogane no Ishizue", which was produced by Segawa Kikunojô I. He went to Ôsaka in Fall 1727 and played in the 11th lunar month of 1727 at the Ônishi no Shibai the role of Okuma in the kaomise drama "Watamashi Yatsumune Gura", which was produced by Sawamura Otoemon I. His rank in the 1728 Ôsaka hyôbanki (1st lunar month of 1728), wakaonnagata section, was two black strokes above jô-(shiro)jô (superior - (white) superior) [visual]. No record afterwards.
