December 1875: born in ďsaka.
1880: he becomes a disciple of Nakamura Ganjir˘ I.
October 1881: he takes the name of Nakamura Naritar˘ I in ďsaka at the Ebisuza.
1899: Naritar˘ goes to T˘ky˘ and joins the troupe led by Ichikawa Sadanji I.
November 1909: revival of Chikamatsu Monzaemon's drama "Onna Goroshi Abura no Jigoku", in ďsaka at the Asahiza, which is based on a new script written by Watanabe Katei; Naritar˘ plays the role of Okichi [casting].
July 1911: Naritar˘ plays at the Asahiza (ďsaka) the roles of Issun Tokubŕ and Otatsu in the drama "Natsu Matsuri Naniwa Kagami". His stage partners are Jitsukawa Enjir˘ I (Danshichi) and Arashi Kitsusabur˘ IV (Tsuribune Sabu).
November 1911: Naritar˘ plays at the Nakaza (ďsaka) the roles of Nureginu and Jihiz˘ in the drama "Honch˘ Nijűshik˘". His stage partners are Jitsukawa Enjaku II (Yokoz˘, Katsuyori) and Arashi Tokusabur˘ V (Princess Yaegaki).
January 1914: Nakamura Naritar˘ I takes the name of Nakamura Kaisha in ďsaka at the Naniwaza.
13 March 1945: Kaisha is killed in the bombing of ďsaka by the US Army.
Nakamura Kaisha's best roles: Koharu (the "Kawash˘" of Chikamatsu Monzaemon's drama "Shinjű Ten no Amijima"), Ohaya (the Hikimado scene of "Futatsu Ch˘ch˘ Kuruwa Nikki"), Umegawa ("Koi Bikyaku Yamato ďrai") and Takebe Genz˘ (the "Terakoya" scene of "Sugawara Denju Tenarai Kagami").
