Comments:

Miyazaki Giheita was a Kyôto actor who was active in his native city and his Ôsaka from the second half of the 1690s to the beginning of the 1730s. He was a popular and talented katakiyaku, who was said to be better in jidaimono dramas than in sewamono dramas. As he was trained as a dôkegata in his prime, he was outstanding in handôgataki roles.
